PREPARE YOUR APPOINTMENT

Before the consultation

Patient form
Please print and fill in the patient form before your appointment if you can and bring it with you.
This may help you to express your priorities. Please try to be as precise as possible and include physical, emotional and mental complaints.

Clothes
You will be asked to keep on your underwear and cover yourself with the towel provided, while I am out of the room. I can then proceed with the traditional diagnosis and access the acupuncture points easily.
I will make sure to respect your intimacy at all times but if you feel uncomfortable with the idea of taking your clothes off, or for any reasons related to your condition, please wear loose clothing. The most important thing is that you feel relaxed and can benefit from the treatment.

I abide by the Britsh Acupuncture Council Code of Professional Conducts and Safe Practise.

Activity
Where possible, please avoid having a big meal or doing intense physical activity just before your appointment.

After the treatment

Avoid a very long drive, a big meal or intense physical activity just after your appointment.

For a couple of days after the treament, you may feel "unsettled", this a normal reaction of your body function. Do not hesitate to contact me if you have any questions. Most people experience a deep calm.

Payment

By cash or cheque

Please give 24h notice to cancel or move an appointment or the full fee may be charged.

A list of Health Insurance Providers which approve members of the British Acupuncture Council can be provided.
